A play by Lily Bevan
Antoine and Jean-Paul (David Dawson and Jolyon Coy) are French theatre directors workshopping a production of a lost 18th century classic. The actors attending try to leave their own personal dramas at the door, but auteur Antoine’s methods are strangely penetrating. A surreal black comedy of clashes and catharsis.
The production formed part of the RADA festival in 2013, performed initially at the Gielgud Theatre in July…and then back by popular demand in September.
