The Complete Walk: Casting update

Exciting news. Ruth Wilson, Gemma
Arterton, David Harewood, Toby Jones, Alex Jennings, Douglas Hodge, Eve Best
and Lindsay Duncan,

amongst
many others,
 to join the cast of The Complete Walk.

The Complete Walk is a series
of 37 short films to be screened along London’s South Bank and in other
national and international locations, including Madrid, Barcelona, Gdansk,
Neuss, Carnuntum, Santa Barbara and
Liverpool, throughout the weekend of 23-24 April 2016, the 400th
anniversary of Shakespeare’s death. The star-studded line-up includes David
Harewood, Ruth Wilson, Gemma Arterton, Toby Jones, Douglas Hodge, Simon Russell
Beale, Joanna Scanlan, Peter Capaldi, Jessie Buckley, Meera Syal, Dominic West,
Eve Best, Alex Jennings, Michelle Terry, David Dawson, Will Keen, Nikesh Patel,
Peter Capaldi, Sam West, Katherine Parkinson, James Norton, Ashley Zhangazha,
Olivia Williams, Ben Miles, Ray Fearon, David Caves, Clare Higgins, Marty
Cruikshank, Neil Maskell, Hayley Atwell, Danny Sapani, Aidan Gillen, Nikki
Amuka-Bird and Lindsay Duncan. 

As for an insight into who will be playing who… Ruth Wilson will appear as Helena
alongside Lindsay Duncan CBE’s Countess in All’s Well That Ends Well,
filming at Rousilllon in France next week; Gemma Arterton will reprise her role as
Rosaline in Love’s Labour’s Lost, the play in which she made her
professional debut at the Globe in 2007, alongside David Dawson; Toby Jones will play Falstaff in Henry IV part 2; David Harewood MBE will play Othello; Douglas Hodge will play Prospero in The
Tempest
, filming in Bermuda; Alex
Jennings will play Hamlet, along with Michelle Terry, Nikesh Patel
and Ashley Zhangazha,

filmed at Elsinore; and Eve Best will play Kate in The Taming of the Shrew.
